BURNDY Split Bolt Connectors

Burndy ground connectors are designed for connecting copper wires to a thick bar in grounding and bonding systems. They are made from highly conductive copper to offer low-resistance connection and provide direct burial to withstand ground fault currents & lightning transients. Burndy ground connectors are equipped with a barrel nut for holding wires / cables in place. These connectors are UL-listed for safe operation.

Burndy copper split bolt connectors are designed for direct burial in earth or concrete related applications. They are integrated with free running thread inserts for quick repairment if damaged and wrench flat to ensure easy gripping. These UL listed connectors can withstand corrosion & cracks, and are available in run & tap conductor types.

Burndy tin-plated aluminium split-bolt connectors are used with solid copper wire, compact, compressed & copper-weld conductors & rebars. These UL listed split-bolt connectors offer low contact resistance and provide equal coefficient of expansion to hinder the reformation of oxides by producing a gas-tight seal.
We also offer Burndy plastic covers for split-bolt connector with self positioning plastic fingers to wrap around wires, completely insulating the joint.
