Frequently Asked Questions
What are some accessories that are compatible with these cutting discs?
Allpax cutting discs require the use of a spanner wrench (Allpax AX1430) for tightening or loosening parts & installing cutting discs.
How to install cutting discs on gasket cutters?
- Disengage the cutting disc lever and remove the scale bar assembly.
- Insert two ends of a spanner wrench into corresponding holes in the cutting disc.
- Loosen the worn-out top / bottom cutting disc by turning the spanner wrench counter-clockwise. A firm strike using a soft hammer or mallet may be required for loosening the discs from threadings.
- Screw in a new cutting disc by holding its two holes using the spanner wrench and turning it clockwise.
