EATON Danfoss RV6-10 Series Pressure Control Valves
Eaton Danfoss RV6-10 Series pressure control valves are designed for regulating and controlling the pressure of gases and liquids in most hydraulic and pneumatic systems. These ball-style valves are made of hardened materials, providing maximum durability and leak protection. The inner componen...ts like cartridges & coils have zinc plating and aluminium manifolds are anodised to improve corrosion resistance. They can be used for harvesting, refuse hauling and mobile & industrial applications. Read more

Working Mechanism
- These pressure control valves feature a ball-shaped disc that moves by the pressure of the hydraulic fluid.
- When the pressure in the system rises above the set limits, the ball disc is pushed against the spring, causing the valve to close and reduce the fluid flow.
- When the pressure drops below the set point, the spring pushes back the disc, thereby opening the valve and allowing more fluid to flow into the system.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the operating temperature of these pressure control valves?
Most models of RV6-10 Series pressure control valves have operating temperatures ranging between -40 and 120 degrees C.
Can I adjust the pressure of a pressure control valve?
These pressure control valves have a cap attached at the top of the valve that can be removed to access an adjustment screw. By turning the screw clockwise or counterclockwise, the set pressure of the valve can be increased or decreased, respectively.
How to install a screw-in cartridge valve?
- Identify the correct location of the valve within the hydraulic system.
- Prepare the manifold or component by cleaning and removing any debris or contaminants.
- Ensure that the valve cartridge and valve body are also clean of debris.
- Install the valve cartridge into the valve body and secure it with a retaining clip.
- Apply a small amount of thread sealant to the threads of the valve body.
- Tighten the valve body to the recommended torque specification.
