EATON BR Series Convertible Loadcenters


Eaton BR Series convertible load centres are electrical panels used to convert a main lug panel to a main breaker panel and vice-versa. They distribute power to circuits in a building or main breaker panel to shut off power of the entire panel.

How to obtain trip codes in Eaton BR Series convertible load centres?

  • Remove the black load wire from the breaker.
  • Detach the white load wire from the breaker.
  • Keep the white pigtail wire connected to the neutral bar and reset the handle to the on position.
  • Trip codes are then displayed for 30 patterns immediately after the breaker is reset.

How to remove twist-outs from these load centres?

  • Strike the twist-outs with a screwdriver and twist them back and forth with pliers.
  • If any twist-out gets removed accidentally, it can be closed with filler plates.
