IEC Overload Relays, For Use W/ Dayton IEC Contactors
Dayton IEC overload relays are designed for monitoring the flow of current in a circuit and cut the power to the motor if too much current is drawn for an extended period. These units feature bi-metallic sensing method consisting of two strips made of different materials. When temperature rises, the bimetallic strip heats up and activates the trip contact which in turn breaks the circuit to stop the motor. They include a trip indicator for quick access to tripped contacts, manual and automatic reset buttons for repeating the cycle and finger-safe terminals for protecting users from electric shocks. Choose from a wide range of these overload relays, available in heights ranging between 1.850 and 2.120 inches.
