Working Mechanism
- A motor drives a crankshaft / camshaft that moves connecting rods back and forth.
- Rubber or plastic diaphragms attach the connecting rods to the diaphragms.
- As the diaphragms move back and forth, a pumping action is created that moves the fluid through the pump.
- Then the fluid enters the pump through an inlet port and is trapped between the two diaphragms.
- As the diaphragms move back and forth, the fluid is forced through the outlet port.
- The pump is then adjusted to vary the pressure and flow rate by adjusting the speed of the motor / by changing the inlet and outlet ports' size.
