Made from high-speed tool steel or carbon steel, the spiral and straight flute extractors are designed to ensure firm gripping and ease extraction by not binding or chewing the material as it is removed. These screw extractors are available in sets containing up to 48 pieces, each having different drill and drive size.

Working Mechanism

  • The screw extractor design uses a tapered drill bit with reverse threading to back the screw out normally.
  • While backing out, it bites down into the head of the stripped fastener, owing to the reverse threading.
