Working Mechanism

  • The working of the lever chain hoist is based on a simple mechanical principle of the lever system.
  • It comprises a lever arm, a load-bearing chain and a fulcrum point (hook).
  • When the operator applies force to the lever arm, the lever system multiples the force and converts it into a pulling force on the chain.
  • As the lever arm is moved back & forth, the laid chain is pulled through the lifting mechanism, causing the load to be lifted off the ground.
  • The operator controls the speed and direction of the lifting motion by adjusting the position of the lever arm.
