Definite Purpose Motors
Definite purpose motors are used for replacing old & damaged motors with the same specifications in compatible equipment. Raptor Supplies offers a huge range of electric motors from brands like Baldor, Marathon and Leeson. 3 phase, 2 speed definite purpose motors from Baldor are designed for pumps, blowers, fans, conveyors and other machine tools. These motors feature steel / cast iron frames ensuring durability & excellent vibration damping and come with open / OPSB / TEFC enclosures for securing the internal parts of the motors. They are equipped with ball bearings for low friction, deliver speeds up to 1800 rpm and can handle temperature rise up to 114 degrees C. Leeson definite purpose motors are designed for woodworking equipment like planers & table saws. They offer speeds up to 3600 rpm and come in DP / TEFC / open enclosures. These definite purpose motors are available in 1 and 3 phase options on Raptor Supplies.
