About Lift-all

Lift-All's extensive product catalogue includes straps, winch cables, wear pads, drum slings, chain & cable hooks, tie-down winches, tie-downs and related accessories. Web slings are suitable for general-purpose lifting applications. They are constructed of surface yarns connected from side to side for protecting the core yarns and positioning the surface & tensile yarns to support the load. Wire mesh slings are used primarily in metalworking applications where the load is abrasive, hot or frequently cut the web slings. They have steel construction to resist abrasion & cutting. The mesh width can grip the loads without much stretching to control & balance the load without damaging them. Wire mesh slings are of two types, Type 1 has triangle & chocker endpoints and type 2 has 2 triangle endpoints. The Lift-All Company also offers lifting devices like beams, hoist rings, tongs and chain hoists to support the lifting slings and make the connection easy while securing the lifting operation.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can users identify the shearing of a synthetic sling?

Users can easily identify synthetic slings that are cut or sheared as they will have a straight line of broken fibres present across or in a portion of the break. OSHA requires slings to be padded or protected from the loads' sharp edges to minimise their shearing.

What is the maximum length of Tuflex and KeyFlex round slings available?

Users can order Tuflex and KeyFlex round slings with lengths up to 80 feet.

Can slings be repaired once damaged?

Selected models, such as chain & mesh slings can be repaired completely and the Tuflex & KeyFlex round slings' outer cover can be repaired. Users can not repair Web slings & wire rope once they damage. However, users can reuse their undamaged hardware.

Can we connect slings without using the necessary hardware?

No, users should not connect slings without using necessary hardware as that would significantly reduce the slings' capacity.

Can dirt and water affect the synthetic slings?

Presence of dirt in web slings can cause internal abrasion and decrease their strength & life. Water does not have a major effect on the web slings' strength.

What is the difference between grade 80 and grade 100 chain slings?

Grade 80 & Grade 100 chain slings differ in strength. Grade 100 chain slings have approximately 25% greater strength than the grade 80 chain slings.

What are some factors to consider while selecting a Lift-All sling?

  • Type of sling rigging or hitch
  • Lift angle required
  • Compatiblity with chemical environment & temperature
  • Protection from load edges
