Thermal Dynamics plasma cutter, 1-5630-1 is designed for cutting sheet metals and other metal workpieces in metalworking and maintenance & repair applications. This Thermal plasma cutter has an oversized display for high visibility in poorly lit and bright light conditions. It features built-in gas optimiser technology with automatic voltage detection of up to 480 V for efficient performance. Further, this plasma cutter also comes equipped with a separable torch handle & a lead for easy maintenance and replacement. Delivering a 7.6 kW rated output and 50 percent duty cycle at 60A current, the plasma cutter is built for durability and portability with the integral multi-handle design. Thermal Dynamics recommends a 5/8 inch (16 mm) cutting & piercing capacity for a 480V plasma cutter.
Thermal Dynamics plasma cutter offers a wide combination of features, making it useful for disc cutting applications, primarily conductive materials including stainless steel, mild steel, cast iron, Copper Monel, titanium, brass & aluminium in metalworking, maintenance and repair industries.
A. Yes, Plasma cutters can cut parts from stone, metal, copper, foam, graphite composites, brass, granite and rubber.
A. All plasma cutters require an air compressor to generate enough air pressure for the task. Users need to buy a separate air compressor for a plasma cutter without a built-in air source.
A. To operate a plasma cutter, a user needs to wear plasma shades & a welding jacket and gloves to prevent accidental injuries.
A. Thermal Dynamics pioneers James Browning and Merle Thorpe incorporated Thermal Dynamics in 1957.
