Q. How to install the additional filters on this microplate absorbance reader?

A.

  • Turn off the instrument and wear safety gloves before touching the filters.
  • Use the Allen key to loosen the knob to open the back door and remove the optical filter wheel.
  • Remove screws to disconnect the fixing plate.
  • Place new filters in open positions.
  • Align the arrow on filters to the light incident direction.
  • Reattach the fixing plate and screws.
  • Place the wheel back into its slot with the number marks facing the rear of the instrument and fasten it with the Allen key.
