Lox-8 PTFE Grease
Fluoramics LOX-8 PTFE greases are used in high-temperature or high-pressure applications, where oxygen-safe sealants and lubricants are required, such as wastewater processing facilities and welding systems. These LOX 8 greases remain stable at temperatures ranging from -400 to 550 degrees F and are formulated for both wet & dry conditions to provide non-flammable, non-hardening, non-toxic and anti-galling properties, (with stainless steel) all under a single product. Choose from a wide range of these PTFE greases available in plastic jar and plunger container variants on Raptor Supplies.
Working Mechanism
- Clean the surface of any dirt or oil.
- Apply the LOX-8 grease gently.
- Wipe off excess grease.
- For re-application, wipe the surface with a lint-free cloth and follow the same procedure.
Features
- Fluoramics LOX-8 greases provide anti-galling, anti-seize and anti-corrosive properties to the surface.
- They are super hydrophobic and are ideal for use in wet conditions.
- These greases are oxygen-safe, waterproof and versatile, making them all-purpose plumbing and O-ring lubricants.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can these greases survive extreme temperatures?
Fluoramics LOX-8 greases have an operating temperature range of -400 to 550 degrees F.
Will chlorine make these LOX-8 greases ineffective?
No, LOX-8 greases are chemically inert and safe for use in chlorine systems.
What is the difference between Fluoramics LOX-8 paste and LOX-8 grease?
LOX-8 paste is thicker and ideal for sealing the threads in pipe joints. LOX-8 grease, being thinner, is suitable for lubricating bearings.
