Working Mechanism
- Eaton CH Series arc fault / ground fault circuit breakers constantly monitor the electrical current flowing through the circuit.
- Arc fault circuit breakers detect dangerous arcing conditions by monitoring the current flowing through the circuit and looking for patterns that can indicate arcing. Ground fault circuit breakers, on the other hand, detect dangerous ground faults that can occur when electrical current flows through an unintended path to the ground by comparing the current flowing out of the circuit with the current returning to the circuit.
- When an abnormal condition is detected, the circuit breaker quickly interrupts the flow of electricity to the circuit, shutting off power to the affected area, preventing potential damage to the connected equipment.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the current rating of these Eaton CH Series arc fault / ground fault circuit breakers?
