Electro Mechanical Actuators

Electro mechanical actuators are ideal for use with fan louvers, film processing equipment and lift tables demanding high-stroke speeds and a precision-controlled linear motion. These multi-purpose electric linear actuators require less maintenance while providing continuous-duty operations in food & beverage, medical and packaging industries. Raptor Supplies offers a wide range of these actuators from brands like Dayton, Warner Linear and Duff-Norton with an aluminium housing providing strength and durability. Duff-Norton linear actuators feature double ball bearings for handling radial and axial loads in both the directions and can also bear inclined (tilted) effects for reducing the surface contact and friction. These totally enclosed non-ventilated actuators provide protection against external contamination and come with a gear-type driving system delivering up to 8 inches of stroke length and 2000 lb load bearing capacity. Dayton linear actuators are equipped with a rigid die cast housing for bearing tolerences and a precision-hobbed gearing for high-end power transmission applications. These actuators further come with a TENV / TEFC single-phase motor capable of rotating the shafts reversibly within a temperature range of 5 - 40 degrees C and Class B insulation for automatic thermal protection. The steel drive tube and acme nut of these actuators are best suited for providing ample strength and rigidity to prevent any kind of deflection or distortion.
